Experimental Detection of Nonlinear Dynamics Using a Laser Profilometer

چکیده
This paper investigates a cantilever beam nonlinear dynamic behaviour, on which the nonlinearity is introduced with permanent magnet interactions or non-holonomic contact. The experimental time domain responses obtained from non-zero initial conditions are measured using laser profilometer, conventionally adopted for product shape detections in online industrial applications. Fourier transform, Continuous Wavelet and Hilbert transform used to investigate phenomena frequency content, highlighting advantages drawbacks of three methods catching instantaneous phenomena. Then, Multi-Phi approach proposed describe evolution systems by means discrete number linearised systems. Therefore, two models have been developed tuned behaviour different Euler–Bernoulli configurations. data compared corresponding ones linear system evaluate effects nonlinearities overall properties.
